what we believe…

- We believe the Bible to be the infallible, the inspired, and all-authoritative Word of God. (2 Tim 3:15-17; 1 Thessalonians 2:13)

- We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Eph 4:4-6; 2 Cor 13:14)

- We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory. (Matt 1:23; John 1:1-4 & 1:29; Phil 2:5-11)

- We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, that repentance of sin and faith in Jesus Christ is absolutely necessary. This faith in Jesus Christ results in regeneration by the Holy Spirit. (John 14:6; Acts 4:12; Romans 3:23; 2 Corinthians 5:10-11; Eph 2:8-9)

- We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, whose indwelling enables the Christian to live a godly life. (John 3:5-8; Acts 1:8 and 4:31; Romans 8:9)

- We believe in the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved unto the resurrection of eternal life and the lost unto the resurrection of damnation and eternal punishment), & everlasting life. (Matt 26:28; 1 Cor 15:51-57; Rev 20:11-15)

- We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ and that all true believers are members of His body, the Church. (1 Cor 12:12, 27; Eph 1:22-23)

- We believe that the ministry of evangelism and discipleship is a responsibility of all followers of Jesus Christ. (Matt 28:18-20; Acts 1:8; Romans 10:9-15)

- We believe that the term "marriage" has only one meaning: the unity of one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in Scripture. (Genesis 2:18–25).
